I used to think it was just the International Olympic Committee who were bloated with the idea of their own self-importance, then when Sepp Blatter appeared I had to add Fifa to that list, but I still assumed Uefa weren’t really so bad. I mean, they’re only in charge of the football on one continent, how deluded could they be?

But it seems they are as bad as the others.
