Imaginary Arsenal is entirely fictional. I think.

(If you’re not in the UK, you probably won’t get the joke about Jimmy Savile. There’s some background here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim%27ll_Fix_It.)

  1. Sorry mate, but that isn’t the slightest bit funny, fair play for taking time to entertain people, but seriously it’s not remotely funny.

      • Haha I don’t have any, that’s why I don’t have my own website to share my ‘comic genius’….
What’s the point of having a comment section if you just insult anyone for sharing a different view to yourself?

      • I haven’t started the insults yet mate, I was just inviting you to do better, which shouldn’t be too hard should it?

      • Mate, I’m all saying is the point of the comments section is for people to ‘comment’ on the article
        Agreed?
I’ve made my comment, and don’t see why I being baited to tell a joke or make a better comic strip
Your a Gooner, I’m a Gooner, I have absolutely nothing against you mate, and I admire that you are trying to make fellow fans laugh, all I’m saying is that I personally didnt find it that funny.

  2. I think it’s great that you’ve put the time into an original idea like this. Makes for a far more interesting read than simply -another- blog about Arsenal.

As for the nay-sayers, if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all. Yes, the comments section is for commenting but how about providing some legitimate criticism, or saying something constructive. Providing such a knee-jerk, basic and spiteful comment really does nobody any favours. You seriously input your e-mail address and name to say that? Little bit sad.

Anyway back to the blog post, I didn’t get the Jimmy Savile bit but as I’ve said I think it’s an original idea and a novel approach to new Gooner-fanzine-esque Arsenal humour. Next time perhaps you could try a smaller font. I think that would go some way to neatening up the panels. Just my opinion though.
